3 Ways Recruiters Help Candidates Find Career Jobs

If you’re on the job hunt, and have been reached out to by one of our recruiters – be happy! Your job hunt and the interview process just got a whole lot easier now that you have a recruiter in your court!

If you hear from one of our recruiters, know that we already think you’re qualified for a position at one of our client’s companies! Also, it means you’re already a step ahead of the hundreds of candidates we disqualify on a daily basis!

Never worked with a recruiter before? Here are three things you should know:

  1. We want our clients AND you to be happy!

We are a little picky about the companies we work with, and have weeded out several over the years that just have not been a fit for our values and culture. That means we love the clients we do have, and really want to look out for them and find them the best possible talent.

The same goes for you! We have met some amazing candidates over the years, and helped them land great positions that turn into fruitful careers at restoration companies across the U.S.

We are not here to spam you, lead you on, or place you with a company that won’t be a good fit.

  1. We listen in and gauge more than just skillset.

Thanks to the fact that we truly get to know our client companies, we also have a good idea of their culture and who will or will not fit into their team. This means when we are doing our initial phone interview with you, we are learning about you, not just the skills listed on your resume. Many of our clients believe in hiring for culture, training for skill, so we make the decision on whether or not you are qualified on more than just your skillset. So, if you’re worried about falling a little short of the job requirements? Fear not! Still talk to us!

  1. We are here every step of the way.

Yep. Seriously, you’re stuck with us, and we hope you’re happy about it! Here is what the process will look like overall:

  1. Initial phone screening interview with a recruiter.
  2. If the client is interested, we will work with you to set up a first round interview with the client. These can be either in person or via phone/video.
  • If you pass the first round with the client, we will get a second interview set up! Either before or after that, depending on the client’s preferences, we will ask you to complete a DISC assessment and request a list of references to call.
  1. If the client thinks you’re the one, we will draw up the offer and present it to you! At this point, we are here to help answer any questions you may have about the company or the offer!
